📋 Description

• Lead the integration of Rockwell Automation's security methodology and process into software development • Lead in identifying and recommending software development capability improvements in security, software development practices, and development tools • Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team to achieve product security and organizational goals. • Lead the teams during threat modeling exercises • Contribute to the education of peers on security issues and best practices • Contribute to the evolution of security standards for software development • Set clear goals, give feedback, and conduct performance reviews. • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth‑oriented environment. • Support career development and provide mentorship to team members. • Contribute directly to the design, development, and delivery of product security solutions, serving as a hands‑on technical leader. • Guide architectural decisions related to product security, secure design, threat mitigation, and compliance. • Oversee day‑to‑day project work, ensuring alignment with scope, requirements, and timelines. • Coordinate resources, plan work assignments, and manage workload prioritization • Track progress, anticipate issues, and resolve delivery obstacles • Work with product managers, designers, QA, architects, and operations teams to align on deliverables. • Communicate updates, challenges, and decisions clearly to stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience. • Legal authorization to work in the US. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years management experience. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Software development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software. • Direct experience leading or contributing to cloud software development. • Experience developing software using Agile Scrum/ SAFe. • Experience in building Team and culture, people development. • Experience balancing hands‑on technical contribution with people and delivery leadership. • Experience working with or leading product security, secure development, or compliance‑driven plans. • Exposure to security standards, frameworks, or certifications (e.g., secure development practices, compliance programs, or product hardening concepts). • Understanding of software vulnerabilities and mitigations, static code analysis, composition analysis, fuzz testing, threat modeling, and associated tools • Experience building and improving software security processes for a product or team • Stay updated with latest security development practices and security technologies, trends, and threats. • Familiarity with cryptography and security protocols • One or more security certifications • Direct experience applying security to web/cloud-based technologies • Experience collaborating with distributed, global development teams, including cross‑time‑zone coordination. • Experience within the Industrial Automation or related industrial software domains.
