• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC • Monitor network traffic and security logs for anomalies and potential threats • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices • Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance the overall security posture • Maintain and set up security tooling on-premises and in cloud environments • Maintain and configure SIEM, EDR, and DLP solutions • Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies • Document security incidents, findings, and mitigation strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security roles • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • JD/PhD • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security • Must be a US Citizen • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS technologies • Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, NDR, Forensic Tooling, and Firewalls • Understanding of NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO27001 • Certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, or GIAC • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP • Proficiency in Python and PowerShell • Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and secure network design principles • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
