📋 Description

• Develop an understanding of Routeware’s contract, billing and revenue processes • Generate accurate and timely customer invoices • Research and resolve customer billing disputes • Input data into the company’s accounting system, verify accuracy, and ensure systems are in balance • Compile and analyze financial information • Prepare and post general ledger entries • Reconcile accounts and maintain proper internal controls • Assist in the monthly close of financial statements • Assist in creating the monthly close report for Management • Document accounting and control procedures • Assist in financial analysis and department reporting • Assist in preparing standard and specialized financial reports under GAAP • Provide supporting documentation and analytical information for tax advisors and external audits • Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions • Work with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures • Assist with special projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, or a minor in business, accounting, or finance with relevant experience • 2+ years of accounting experience in established middle-market companies • Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting processes and procedures • Skilled in the use of enterprise-level accounting software, Microsoft Office, and other business software systems • Experienced with general office equipment • Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel user preferred • Strong experience with daily Accounts Receivable functions preferred • Experience with Salesforce preferred • Experience with Sage Intacct and Tesorio software preferred • SaaS/Software industry experience preferred • Experience in multiple currency transactions and inter-company transactions preferred • Experience with sales tax calculations and filing in multiple jurisdictions preferred • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, diligence, and good judgment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Well-organized, self-directed team player • Problem-solving and information analysis skills • Adaptability to changing work environments and competing demands • Continuous process improvement mindset • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively
