📋 Description

• Provide support and guidance on U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations, including FAR, DFARS, Procurement Integrity Act, Competition in Contracting Act, Cost Accounting and Pricing Principles, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, and Defense Priorities and Allocations System • Assist in developing, implementing, and continuously improving compliance guidance, processes, procedures, and metrics • Support and deliver government compliance and specialized regulatory training • Partner with senior leadership, suppliers, teammates, and customers on government compliance issues • Draft, update, and maintain government compliance guidance materials and playbooks • Travel domestically as required • Support the Collins U.S. Government Compliance Counsel in managing and enhancing the enterprise-wide U.S. Government Compliance Program • Lead key U.S. Government compliance initiatives across the business

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience • Extensive knowledge of FAR and DFARS • Demonstrated experience advising on complex issues involving U.S. Government prime contracts and subcontracts • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills • Ability to communicate complex matters effectively and persuasively • Strong interpersonal relationship skills • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Understanding of cost accounting and finance issues in the aerospace and defense industry • Experience supporting the full lifecycle of government contracts from formation through closeout • Working knowledge of commercial products and services contracting procedures • Detailed understanding of Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act requirements • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving timely, successful outcomes • Experience developing and delivering U.S. Government contract and compliance training • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program/contract • Security clearance is not required
