📋 Description

• Develop a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base. • Collaborate with multiple business units to execute Supply Chain strategies. • Own and be responsible for collaborating with multiple strategic suppliers. • Evaluate and select supplier alignments based on price competitiveness, capability, quality, reliability (TCO). • Analyze data and information to determine reasonable prices. • Negotiate and execute long term agreements with supply base that aligns with commodity strategy and internal stakeholders needs. • Lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. • Work with limited oversight from leadership. • Manage several projects at one time with a variety of complexity. • Clearly communicate commodity or project status to leadership. • Identify and pursue VA/VE opportunities through collaboration with internal stakeholders. • Lead change management or work transfer projects for cost savings or better alignment with supply base. • Influence and support Collins strategic initiatives and change management projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. • Proven working knowledge of Supply Chain practices and Commodity Management. • Experience with Connectors or Harness Assembly. • Strong Analytical skill (Excel, Access database, SAP). • Results in negotiation, work transfer, or project execution.
