• Lead and participate in quality system and product/process audits • Communicate and schedule audits with suppliers and team members • Conduct pre-audit research and planning • Conduct audits • Manage and drive effective analysis and implementation of RCCAs • Handle internal and external communications as required • Create and assist in maintaining audit process standard work • Assist in developing the annual audit schedule • Interact and communicate with various groups and levels of Pratt & Whitney management • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • 50–75% domestic/international travel required • Minimum 3 years of audit experience in the aerospace industry • Good understanding of AS9100 • ASQ, RABQSA and/or Lead Auditor certifications preferred • Basic knowledge of special processes, manufacturing processes, manufacturing software, inspection processes, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process control, FAI, non-conforming material management and CAR management preferred • Knowledge of collecting, analyzing and transforming process data into meaningful information for senior management preferred • Customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teaming and communication skills preferred • Applied knowledge and daily use of CORE principles, especially RCCA/8D methodology preferred • Familiarity with industry and Pratt & Whitney engineering, quality and manufacturing requirements, work instructions and quality manuals preferred • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
