📋 Description

• Own supplier quality performance across assigned commodities • Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards • Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and certification activities • Conduct audits, assessments, and capability evaluations • Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify risks or trends • Implement proactive supplier improvement strategies • Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues • Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions • Manage nonconforming material and escape management processes • Partner with suppliers to contain issues and prevent recurrence • Support source inspections, material release, and work transfer activities • Drive adoption of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA • Lead or support Corrective Action Boards and DQ Clinics • Ensure supplier readiness for PPAP approvals, Resourcing Gate reviews, and contractual quality requirements • Manage supplier improvement programs such as ZERO and Quality Improvement Plans

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • 5+ years of experience in a supply chain, manufacturing, or supplier quality environment • Experience with supplier monitoring, auditing, and/or development • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies, such as 8D and Red-X • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards, such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 • Experience with APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP, including associated elements • Experience supporting commodities such as composites, plastics, textiles, or interior products • Familiarity with SPC, MSA, and Control Plans • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams • Effective communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers • Background in supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Ability to work remotely, preferably from the Mountain or Pacific time zone • Willingness to travel up to 30% (approximately two trips per month)
