📋 Description

• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFPs, letter subcontracts, and manage PR-to-PO execution • Place medium-complexity purchase orders in accordance with FAR/DFAR and corporate compliance requirements • Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations covering price, delivery, scope, terms and conditions, and other agreements • Perform price and cost analysis for proposals compliantly • Develop and maintain professional business relationships with multi-tier subcontractors • Collaborate with Programs, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, Planning, and other functional groups to support manufacturing and on-time delivery • Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information • Lead quarterly business reviews with high-risk or key suppliers • Work effectively in a remote/virtual environment • Manage responsibilities with minimal supervision • Support a collaborative team culture

🎯 Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years experience • DoD procurement experience • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) • Ability to place purchase orders over TINA dollar threshold • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • SAP/PRISM-based environment experience preferred • Experience with technical requirements of non-complex and complex mechanical items preferred • Experience in written contractual authorizations and documents preferred • Strong professional communication skills and experience with Microsoft products preferred • Leadership skills and ability to interface internally and externally with suppliers preferred • Supplier negotiation experience covering price, schedules, terms and conditions preferred • Ability to adapt to change and passion to support the mission preferred • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills preferred
