📋 Description

• Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations and Quality • Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings and establish rapid response actions • Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for critical quality or delivery issues • Develop and implement supplier improvement plans with stakeholder communication and plan review checkpoints • Monitor leading and lagging KPIs and evaluate containment exit criteria • Escalate persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams • Partner with Commodity Teams and Supplier Business Units to transition issues to sustainable operations • Identify supplier sites and prioritize development based on risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs • Conduct supplier assessments using the OCRA tool • Engage suppliers through development roadmaps, training, maturity models, and targeted actions • Align supplier readiness activities with Commodity Managers and Engineering for new programs and volume ramp-ups • Facilitate structured improvement plans, KPI tracking, and gate reviews • Monitor maturity targets and initiate sustainment planning • Support long-term monitoring and supplier re-engagement cycles • Develop manufacturing process technology tools and standardization, including FMEA and Control Plans • Lead or support supplier transitions and ensure smooth handover of work scope • Monitor supplier maturity after transition and reinforce long-term capability • Align internal business units and suppliers on performance expectations and continuous improvement • Execute APQP for new product launch and work transition projects • Travel up to 50%

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience • Background/experience within Operations, Supplier Development, and/or Project Management • Experience working within the aerospace industry or a similar manufacturing environment • Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) experience • Experience working with cross-functional personnel and developing relationships across Collins Aerospace business units • Experience applying CORE principles/tools to manage processes, ensure continuous improvement, and benchmark best practices • Experience in Machining or Mechanical Fabrication • U.S. citizenship is required • Ability to travel up to 50% • Security clearance is not required
