📋 Description

• Lead procurement efforts for multiple programs • Foster supplier relationships and administer subcontracts throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from requirements generation to product delivery and payment • Manage supplier performance through proactive supplier management, leadership engagements, and supplier recovery efforts • Issue and resolve medium- to high-complexity conflicts in compliance with FAR/DFAR and corporate requirements • Prepare, issue, evaluate, and manage RFQs/RFPs • Conduct price and cost analyses • Negotiate contractual terms including price, delivery schedules, and payment terms • Mitigate supplier risks • Administer and manage high-value and complex material and service procurements, including purchase orders and subcontracts • Collaborate with Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Material Program Managers to resolve sourcing challenges • Provide procurement and supplier management support for U.S. Government and Commercial contracts • Monitor procurement reports and drive performance against company metric targets • Assist in training and mentoring procurement team members as needed • Travel up to 10% as required

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience, or a minimum of 5 years of experience with an advanced degree • Experience leading and managing procurement processes, projects, and tactics in a procurement work area • Experience with supplier management, including performance management, relationship management, and supplier recovery efforts • Experience managing contract types including CPFF and FFP purchase orders under FAR/DFAR with build-to-print/specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs) • U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • U.S. Person status or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations required • Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field • Experience with project planning and management tools such as SAP, SharePoint, and Power BI • Experience in procurement for development and production programs, including major subcontracts • Experience in a SAP-based environment • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including SOW review • Familiarity with ITAR • Knowledge of and compliance with FAR/DFARS • Experience managing financial and operational risks and opportunities • Experience with supplier and customer negotiations, including terms and conditions and performance-based payments • Experience with defense technologies and import/export regulations • Ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and communications • Ability to travel up to 10% as required
