📋 Description

• Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategies • Prepare and issue requests for quotations/proposals (RFQs/RFPs) and analyze supplier responses • Perform price and cost analysis to support procurement decisions • Develop strategies and lead formal negotiations on price, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions • Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, internal teams, and suppliers • Place and maintain medium- to high-complexity purchase orders • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), corporate policies, and procedures • Manage supplier performance against key metrics and ensure timely delivery • Serve as the escalation path for procurement-related stakeholder concerns • Support organizational goals and program objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership roles • Experience in a SAP-based environment • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required • U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including statement of work (SOW) reviews • Experience leading formal negotiations on price, schedule, and contractual requirements • Experience performing price and cost analysis • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance, or STEM field • Working knowledge of supply chain systems and SAP purchasing tools • Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry • Familiarity with supplier management within a matrix environment • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail
