• Manage assigned payers on the Revenue Cycle Management team • Investigate claim denials • Navigate evolving payer requirements • Prioritize and accurately resolve complex claims • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze operational and denial trends • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and claim outcomes • Use technical expertise, critical thinking, collaboration, and data-driven insights to improve revenue cycle efficiency • Provide guidance to offshore team members on payer-specific workflows, claim resolution strategies, and operational processes • Assist with onboarding • Answer workflow questions • Share best practices and support continuous learning within the pod
• 2+ years experience in a healthcare billing, insurance, patient relations, or medical claims role • Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, claim processing, appeals, and recoupment procedures • Comprehensive knowledge of Denial Language and Carrier CARC Codes • Expert understanding of The Life Cycle of a Claim • Critical thinking skills for evaluating complex cases, identifying solutions, and making informed decisions • Basic to intermediate Excel experience, including data formatting, formulas, basic charts, and pivot tables • Previous mental health or behavioral health billing and collections experience (preferred) • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software, such as AdvancedMD (preferred) • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment (preferred) • Organizational skills for managing multiple cases, correspondence, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail (preferred) • 1+ years of experience partnering with and or leading offshore teams (preferred) • Must be based in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii
