📋 Description

• Oversee the semi-monthly billing process and ensure accurate, timely client invoice distribution • Research and resolve billing reconciling items • Serve as the authoritative billing point of contact with PBM partners for complex billing matters, regulatory requirements, and contractual terms • Ensure appropriate revenue recognition for existing and new revenue streams, including monthly accruals and deferrals • Review monthly close tasks and evaluate balance sheet and income statement accounts • Liaise between Billing and Account Management, Broker Relations, Product, and IT • Partner with Accounting teams including Accounts Receivable, Commissions, and Financial Risk • Supervise and develop a team of 8–10 employees • Conduct one-on-ones, skip-level meetings, and weekly team meetings • Review process documentation, preventive and detective controls, and efficiency opportunities • Monitor the client and internal ticketing system and maintain service-level standards • Administer and maintain billing technology tools with Product and IT • Design and review monthly client-fee audits and conduct root-cause analysis • Prepare documentation and assist with the annual external financial statement audit • Help maintain the accuracy of the Confluence Accounting site • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • 5+ years’ experience in a directly related accounting role • Experience managing a team of 5+ employees • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Demonstrated experience with process documentation, including identifying and implementing process improvements • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines • Well-developed written and oral communication skills • CPA license a plus • Pharmacy benefit industry experience preferred
