📋 Description

• Responsible for day-to-day claim activity of third-party claims submitted by claimants, customer markets, operations, legal, etc., for ultimate settlement and disposition • Communicate with customers, contractors, employees, business partners, and insurance representatives to obtain information and answer questions concerning claims and incidents • Maintain and update claim files and database system utilizing the Last Mile CLM Claim System to compile and file insurance records • Monitor independent contract carriers and report on compliance issues pertaining to indemnification, required insurance, additional insured status, insurance coverage exclusions/omissions • Report compliance issues and breaches to compliance team, local leadership, and management to alert of potential exposure to RXO and potential financial implications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience • 5 Years of experience in insurance claims and/or legal claims handling • Basic knowledge of insurance policy language • Advanced-level user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs • Advanced Data Analysis using Excel • Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software • Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit
