📋 Description

• Own day-to-day supply chain operations across the Netherlands/Belgium, UK, and US • Manage sourcing and manufacturing relationships • Plan and forecast inventory across multiple markets • Build and maintain reorder and purchasing plans • Monitor stock levels, lead times, inbound shipments, and potential stock-out risks • Plan inventory for major sales periods, including Black Friday and Q4 • Manage relationships with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and logistics partners • Coordinate international shipments from suppliers through fulfillment • Manage shipping and logistics across the EU, UK, and US • Coordinate customs and import requirements • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce freight, fulfillment, and landed costs • Evaluate alternative shipping and fulfillment models, including direct shipping from China/Asia • Source and evaluate new suppliers and manufacturers • Request product samples and coordinate supplier evaluations • Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, and logistics costs • Build relationships with suppliers and logistics partners • Track supply chain performance and maintain clear reporting • Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve operational issues • Build and improve supply chain processes as the business scales • Work closely with the founder and COO • Take ownership of the supply chain and help shape operational scaling

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on supply chain experience • Fluent Dutch, both spoken and written • Good English communication skills • Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment • Hands-on experience working with 3PLs and freight forwarders • Experience managing international shipping and logistics • Understanding of customs and import requirements • Experience managing suppliers and/or manufacturers • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership • Available to work during EU hours • Looking for a long-term freelance/contractor engagement • Experience with eCommerce or DTC is advantageous • Experience with 8-, 9-, or 10-figure eCommerce brands is advantageous • Experience in supplements, health & wellness, food, or FMCG is advantageous • Experience sourcing and manufacturing in China or Asia is advantageous • Experience shipping products directly from China/Asia is advantageous • Experience with ShipBob or similar 3PL platforms is advantageous • Experience with multi-market inventory planning is advantageous • Experience with Black Friday / Q4 demand planning is advantageous • Experience with logistics and landed-cost optimization is advantageous • Experience with supplier negotiations and cost reduction is advantageous • Must be able to communicate effectively with a remote team • Dutch fluency is required
