📋 Description

• Develop and execute global sourcing and contract manufacturing strategies for PCBAs/Boards across all S&C value streams • Serve as subject matter expert for contract manufacturing and strategic supplier management • Lead and guide cross-functional teams • Own relationships with critical global suppliers and contract manufacturing partners • Influence supplier investment decisions, capacity allocation, technology roadmaps, and long-term partnership strategies • Strengthen supplier capabilities and manufacturing readiness • Prioritize technical support for obsolescence and implement supply-risk reduction strategies • Align contract manufacturing strategies with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Product Management, and functional leadership • Establish standard operating procedures, roles, and responsibilities for contract manufacturing • Establish supplier selection, qualification, and risk-management strategies • Lead sourcing decisions, supplier assessments, and executive reviews • Drive supply continuity, capacity assurance, and supplier capability development • Own supplier selection for new product development initiatives • Coordinate BOM risk calculation updates and risk-reduction strategies • Establish supplier readiness processes for project milestones and end-of-life, obsolete, sole-source, and late-design-change risks • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, corporate policies, and local laws • Support international business units with compliant sourcing practices • Drive supplier performance improvements across quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and risk management • Comply with applicable company policies and rules

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience working with electronics suppliers in the manufacturing industry • Proven track record managing global sourcing projects with complex supply chains • Deep knowledge of international sourcing strategies and supplier management • Sound understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial products and components • Ability to manage large-scale sourcing projects with minimal oversight • Ability to direct cross-functional teams and ensure project goals are met • Critical thinking, organizational, planning, and project management skills • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and manage diverse projects to deadlines and budgets • Interpersonal skills to establish relationships, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors, and foster collaboration • Written, verbal, listening, and presentation communication skills • Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams • Business acumen and analytical skills, including using and analyzing data for decision-making and continuous improvement • Financial acumen and numerical ability for strategic financial decisions and negotiations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to travel internationally • Bachelor's degree in engineering • Experience using Oracle Sourcing functions preferred • MBA preferred • CSM, CPSM, or CSCP certification preferred
