• Design, configure, and maintain OnBase solutions, including: Workflows Document types, life cycles, and queues User groups, security, and permissions • Develop and customize OnBase components using: Workflow Designer Unity Scripting / Unity APIs OnBase Configuration Studio • Implement document capture, indexing, and storage solutions to support MMIS business processes • Support integrations between OnBase and MMIS components (e.g., eligibility, provider management, claims, finance) • Collaborate with technical teams on data exchange, interface troubleshooting, and performance optimization • Assist with upgrades, patches, and environment migrations (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod) • Support system and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT), including defect analysis and resolution • Participate in release planning and deployment activities • Ensure solutions comply with state security, audit, and documentation standards • Work closely with business analysts to translate Medicaid business requirements into technical OnBase solutions • Produce and maintain technical documentation, configuration artifacts, and support guides • Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and status reporting
• 5+ years of hands-on Hyland OnBase development and configuration experience • Strong experience with: OnBase Workflow Unity Client / Unity Scripting OnBase Configuration & Administration • Experience supporting Medicaid MMIS/MES, healthcare systems, or large public-sector IT programs • Solid understanding of document management, workflow automation, and enterprise content management (ECM) • Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Prior experience in a state Medicaid or HHS system (preferred) • Familiarity with CMS guidance and Medicaid operational processes (preferred) • Experience supporting system modernization or system replacement initiatives (preferred) • Hyland OnBase certifications (Administrator, Workflow, or Developer) (preferred) • Experience working with system integrators or as part of a multi-vendor team (preferred)
