📋 Description

• Assist with configuration, deployment, and management of EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne • Collaborate with senior engineers to support SIEM and NDR systems • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents as part of a cybersecurity team • Perform health checks, reporting, and troubleshooting for EDR, SIEM, NDR, firewalls, and other service delivery systems • Gain hands-on experience with AWS or Azure while supporting cloud architecture design and security practices • Contribute to security architecture documentation, including policies, standards, and system design artifacts • Assist with compliance initiatives related to FEDRAMP, NIST 800-53 controls, System Security Plans, and CIS hardening baselines • Report to the Technical Director and support implementation, operation, and maintenance of cybersecurity systems

🎯 Requirements

• Recent completion of a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field • Up to 2 years of relevant hands-on experience, including internships, coursework, or entry-level positions in cybersecurity, information technology, or network security • Must be a US Citizen • Able to pass a CJIS background check • Basic understanding of EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne and/or SIEM such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk • General exposure to cybersecurity concepts and practices through school projects, certifications, or internships • Willingness to learn and grow technical skills in security operations, architecture, incident response, and compliance frameworks • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment • Hands-on experience in a large, complex IT environment is desirable • Familiarity or exposure to ManageEngine, ServiceNow, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Vectra AI is a plus • Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure is preferred • Understanding of ITIL v4, TOGAF, or similar methodologies is preferred • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CYSA+, CCFA, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable
