📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules through all phases of project execution • Coordinate with project managers and team members to gather schedule information and update schedules • Identify scheduling issues and develop mitigation strategies • Communicate schedule updates and changes to project teams and stakeholders • Use scheduling software to create and manage project timelines • Prepare regular schedule status reports highlighting deviations or risks • Analyze schedules to identify trends and improvement areas • Ensure compliance with organizational scheduling policies and procedures • Set up Microsoft Project projects, including start dates, calendars, and working times • Create, organize, and link tasks with dependencies, constraints, deadlines, and milestones • Define, categorize, and assign resources and manage resource availability • Apply effort-driven scheduling and Critical Path Method (CPM), including primary, secondary, and tertiary critical paths • Resolve resource overallocations using Resource Graph, Resource Usage, and leveling methods • Set and manage baselines for progress tracking • Update task and project progress based on real-world data • Perform variance analysis by comparing baselines and actuals • Customize and save user-defined Microsoft Project views, including Gantt Chart, Task Usage, Resource Sheet, and Network Diagram • Share and export project plans through publishing and Microsoft Office integration • Work with project leadership in a cross-functional team environment to oversee project schedules

🎯 Requirements

• One of the following: HS/GED plus 10 years of experience; associate degree plus 8 years; bachelor degree plus 6 years; or master's degree plus 4 years • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work entrepreneurially and collaboratively • Proficiency with scheduling software, preferably Microsoft Project • Experience in project planning and scheduling • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office applications, and Office-Project integration • Understanding of critical path methodology for timely milestone delivery • Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) • Must be a US Citizen • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance; existing clearance preferred but not required • Knowledge of effort-driven scheduling, baselines, resource leveling, variance analysis, and Microsoft Project views and reports • Some exposure to Project Online or Project Server is advantageous
