📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day clinical operations for telehealth physicians serving Medicare patients with chronic and complex conditions • Serve as the escalation point for difficult clinical cases • Own physician recruiting, set the hiring bar, and build onboarding and training programs • Develop workflows, pathways, and protocols for physician assessments and care-plan collaboration with advocates • Run quality assurance and quality improvement programs across visits and documentation • Write policies supporting compliance across states • Define physician KPIs with the Data team and coach from performance metrics • Translate clinical needs into priorities for Product, Growth, and Care Operations • Continue providing a portion of direct patient visits

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted medical license • Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics • Ideally licensed in 30+ states • 3+ years managing other physicians as a medical director or similar • Track record of building and developing clinical teams • 5+ years of direct patient care • Ideally experience with older adults • Comfortable making decisions without a playbook, moving fast, and changing course when evidence indicates • Ability to translate clinical judgment for non-clinical partners • Startup or digital health experience is a plus • Comfort working autonomously
