• Perform system design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of assigned applications • Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of functional workflows and software functionality • Participate in future-state workflow review and development • Complete system builds supporting new workflows • Collaborate in workgroups and across interdisciplinary teams • Identify system optimization and enhancement opportunities • Design and implement solutions with vendors, technology teams, project teams, and end users • Research issues and independently analyze complex matters to produce solution options • Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported through the help desk • Maintain up-to-date documentation • Implement changes using documented, policy-compliant processes • Promote the Health System's Mission, Vision, and Values and provide high customer service • Coordinate activities and lead others without supervision • Work with patients, customers, healthcare professionals, staff, and Director-level stakeholders
• High school diploma or GED • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred • Obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned application module(s) • One year of related experience • Current internal/external Epic operational experience strongly preferred • Ability to complete Epic certification and maintain certification in assigned application module(s) • Basic computer skills • Ability to work independently and within a team across multiple disciplines • Ability to establish and meet work schedules within limited time frames and under tight deadlines • Analytical ability to solve both business and technical problems • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to travel as required for Epic training • Ability to travel to remote work sites as needed
