📋 Description

• Meet with stakeholders to understand and collect complex business requirements, acting as the primary bridge between mission owners and technical teams • Document requirements as Enhancement Requests and User Stories with clear, concise, and testable acceptance criteria • Perform verification testing on ServiceNow services and modules built by the development team • Explain ServiceNow capabilities and platform usage to business users, facilitate training, and drive platform adoption across the USCG • Execute the full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable, functional scoped applications and ServiceNow modules • Advocate for out-of-the-box alignment and adhere to ServiceNow platform governance best practices to minimize technical debt • Ensure business processes and application designs conform to USCG system security requirements and federal data protection standards • Produce and maintain functional requirements documents, user guides, and Software Lifecycle Management Plan updates

🎯 Requirements

• High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience) • Demonstrated experience as a Business or Process Analyst supporting the ServiceNow platform • Proven ability to execute the SDLC using modern frameworks such as Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps in a mission-critical environment • Experience documenting requirements specifically for USCG, DoD, DHS, or federal cybersecurity-focused environments • Proficiency in quality assurance (QA) and verification testing within the ServiceNow platform • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead stakeholder meetings and translate technical capabilities into business value • Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment, focusing on process efficiency and operational readiness • Active Secret Clearance • Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs • Knowledge of ServiceNow Governance or the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) • Familiarity with ITIL framework and enterprise IT governance • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
