📋 Description

• Maintain participation in and/or coordinate, consult on, and provide technical support for clinical data systems, including CMS, TJC, and various diagnosis-based registries. • Develop and implement processes to collect, monitor, analyze, and report quality improvement and safety information. • Contribute to Sanford’s health quality plan. • Coordinate and facilitate assigned quality improvement goals. • Facilitate quality improvement activities and implement improvement strategies within assigned departments and settings. • Stimulate problem solving and innovation. • Coordinate peer review activities. • Analyze patient records to identify potential variances from desired clinical outcomes. • Design and provide education on quality improvement topics. • Provide consultation on quality improvement and accreditation. • Manage daily chart reviews and registry deadlines independently.

🎯 Requirements

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state clinical licensure. • Minimum of three years clinical background in specialty required. • Microsoft Office applications experience preferred. • Unencumbered professional clinical license with the applicable state board, accrediting body, and/or national registry as required for department needs and specialty focus area(s). • If an Registered Nurse, holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. • Required department specific competencies and certifications. • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA. • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
