📋 Description

• Collaborate with managers, directors, and senior leadership on monthly productivity and remediation of variances • Coordinate and complete annual operating budgets • Manage the month-end closing cycle, including reviewing financial information and journal entries for accuracy • Maintain and report management systems • Maintain departmental statistical and financial data • Evaluate the financial impact of new programs • Formulate financial forecasts and modeling • Prepare projections for new building projects • Perform rate analysis and other financial projects • Serve as a project coordinator • Provide support and training to team members • Contribute to the financial functioning of Sanford Health and support complex areas within Sanford

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or related field required • Three years of experience required • Foundational understanding of accounting principles and standards • Ability to make forecasts based on statistical analysis • Ability to provide accurate, complex analysis of financial data • Ability to interpret complex financial and accounting data • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines • Ability to mentor and take initiative in professional development • Self-directed and autonomous while able to work in an interdependent role • Attention to detail; work must be well documented • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management and employees • Healthcare experience helpful • CPA, CMA, or other professional certification preferred but not required
