📋 Description
• Provides speech and language services to clients/patients/residents • Administers speech and language evaluations, tests or examinations • Develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses • Instructs clients/patients/residents in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises • Ensures all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols and quality requirements are met • May treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnosis and disorders
🎯 Requirements
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist • Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by ASHA or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
