📋 Description

• Guide a team of structural engineers • Interface with engineers from other disciplines • Interface directly with clients • Lead and mentor a structural engineering team on engineering projects for new nuclear facilities and upgrades • Prepare, review, and provide guidance for design calculations • Develop specifications • Work with designers for drawing development • Prepare, review, or guide the structural analysis of safety-related structures under various loading conditions • Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs

🎯 Requirements

• MSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program • PE or SE license • Ten or more years of experience working as a member of a project team in the design and analysis of industrial / heavy commercial or nuclear facility structures • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, STRUDL, SASSI or ANSYS • Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 4, ASCE 43, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI • Good written and verbal communication skills • Valued, but not required: Ph.D. degree
