📋 Description

• Guide a team of structural engineers • Interface with clients and engineers from other disciplines • Manage a variety of structural engineering projects • Apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design • Work on projects for various clients and interface with them as required • Direct preparation and review of design calculations, specifications, reports, and other deliverables • Support designers with drawing development • Supervise and mentor others in developing quality engineering deliverables • Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using computer tools • Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews • Travel to plant sites for construction coordination and field verification of designs

🎯 Requirements

• No sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S. • BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program • Ten or more years of experience as a member of a project team designing and analyzing industrial, heavy commercial, or nuclear facility structures • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS • Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with AI, automation, programming, or similar technologies is valued but not required • MSCE degree is valued but not required • On-site construction support experience is valued but not required • PE or SE license is valued but not required
