📋 Description
• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV range • Conduct cost analyses and develop design criteria • Select conductors and perform shielding, grounding, and induction studies • Work with vendors and clients to specify components • Mentor less experienced staff and develop proposals for new work
🎯 Requirements
• BS degree from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited program or US based ABET-accredited program • Proficiency with PLS-CADD software • 7+ years of experience in transmission line design and project management • Knowledge of design techniques and tools • Familiarity with design codes such as NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE, ANSI, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI 318 • Proficiency with MS Office applications • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
