📋 Description

• Lead outsourced accounting engagements for 7–14 brewery clients • Own the monthly close for 7–14 brewery clients, including QBO, reconciliations, accruals, payroll, inventory, and final review • Serve as the main accounting point of contact for clients • Answer client questions and deliver high-level client service • Coordinate with Accounting Associates handling recurring bookkeeping • Prepare and file sales and excise tax for a subset of clients • Collaborate with Compliance, Consulting, and Tax teams • Manage client bookkeeping, accounting, close, compliance, and brewery-specific work as responsibilities progress • Handle complex client communication and troubleshooting independently at mastery level • Mentor new hires and drive accounting process improvements at mastery level • Report to an Accounting Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of full-cycle, accrual-based accounting experience managing multiple clients or entities • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment; prior remote experience helpful but not required • Reliable internet • Quiet setup for video calls • Availability during normal business hours (9–5, Monday–Friday) • Must be based in the U.S. • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing visa sponsorship • Experience with Bill.com is a plus • Preferred: public firm, outsourced accounting, or similar experience • Preferred: prior experience with Square, Toast, Gusto, Podio or Asana
