📋 Description

• Review technical/program documents and applications • Perform environmental calculations based on provided methodologies • Collect, label, and ship samples from job sites to laboratories for testing and analysis • Maintain and operate equipment according to manufacturer guidelines • Document field observations and submit timely field-status reports • Communicate with field supervisors, project managers, and community stakeholders about field conditions, job status, and operational challenges • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations • Adapt to project timelines, schedules, and field conditions • Operate motor non-CDL vehicles to transport field personnel and equipment • Support water infrastructure and water quality investigations across the United States • Engage with community stakeholders, gather environmental data, monitor equipment vendors, conduct sampling, and perform site inspections • Travel to project sites for multiple weeks at a time

🎯 Requirements

• College degree required; Bachelor’s Degree listed in qualifications • 2–5 years of environmental or similar field experience • Experience with environmental sampling techniques • Familiarity with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint • Active OSHA 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER certification • Previous GIS platform experience preferred • Ability and willingness to travel at least 75% of hours worked • Weekend mobilization and demobilization and over-the-weekend stays may be required • Valid driver’s license • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly • Ability to work outdoors in various field conditions • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, collaborative, and able to make real-time decisions • Must reside within the United States • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must pass a pre-employment background screening • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before employment start date unless an applicable reasonable accommodation is granted
