📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager, Sales Leaders, career field representatives, and external brokers • Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with business leaders, community-based organizations, providers, primary care physicians, and front offices • Obtain referrals and contribute to SCAN Health Plan membership growth through local and community-based marketing • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals by transitioning leads to enrollments • Follow up with representatives and brokers for lead data and track sales conversions • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly qualified lead goals • Support local market sales goals through lead development and public-facing presentations • Distribute approved marketing and event materials in coordination with Corporate Marketing and Compliance • Locate, plan, set up, attend, and present at Quarterly New Member Orientations and year-round community education events • Provide a monthly activity calendar and ensure scheduled events are filed; minimum 20 events per month • Maintain a weekly activity summary and submit reports weekly • Carry out provider marketing events and enrollment events; coordinate partner participation • Schedule new member orientations and present plan benefits and important information to support retention and connect members to SCAN services • Ensure events, communications, materials, media, and promotions comply with brand guidelines and CMS rules and regulations • Obtain payment approval for community events and communicate with and pay vendors • Adhere to compliance expectations and sales operations processes • Maintain knowledge of the product portfolio and eligibility guidelines for election periods • Support SCAN’s Vision and Goals • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's / Technical Degree or equivalent combination, preferred • A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above • 3-5 years’ previous outside sales or Outreach experience within the Medicare community, required • 3-5 years’ experience with MS Office - Excel (data input, reporting, formulas), Word (creating documents, memo, spell check), and Power Point (developing presentations and marketing material), required • Previous healthcare marketing and grassroots/community outreach experience, preferred • Experience in business/product network development and/or marketing experience, preferred • Understanding of health care markets, primarily Medicare and Medicare Advantage, preferred • Bilingual Chinese or Vietnamese, preferred • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy laws • Communicate effectively and professionally • Creative solutioning skills • Critical thinking • Decision making • Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced or implementation environment • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods • Must be able to lift 30 pounds • Must be willing to work some nights and weekends • Strong public speaking skills required • Technical Expertise – Basic analytical skills • Problem solving – Basic problem solving skills • Communication – Good communication and interpersonal skills • Travel 50+% of the time in the assigned area • Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation • A background check is required
