📋 Description

• Use critical thinking skills and respond quickly and professionally under stressful and sometimes emergent situations • Provide clinical assessment and nursing triage to a wide variety of patients across the health continuum and/or health education to culturally diverse populations • Assists in directing patient to the most appropriate level of care • Provide telephonic health information and nursing education • Assists and empowers patients to make better health care decisions • Helps patients to participate in other external programs or resources available to them to improve their health • Work in collaboration with Telehealth providers by referring appropriate patients who may benefit from a “virtual care visit” • Provide outbound follow-up calls as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Nursing Degree (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required • Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state where the candidate resides with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure is required eNLC preferred or ability to obtain • Two to four years of clinical experience required • Hospital experience on medical-surgical, critical care, or inpatient care setting preferred • Experience in Emergency Room, EMT, or Triage experience • Must be a team player • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all members of the healthcare team • Excellent organizational skills, can prioritize and complete tasks when there are multiple competing priorities • Decisiveness and attention to details as well as proficiency with technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc. • Knowledge of Hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
