📋 Description

• Serve as senior owner for major sports and entertainment partnerships, setting and revising pricing strategy • Own commercial relationship health, renewal posture, escalations, and partner leadership engagement • Set and move prices throughout the event lifecycle against sell-through, price realization, and spoilage targets • Decide inventory holds, releases, channel distribution, and when positions should be worked down • Manage partner relationships through reporting, strategy check-ins, and market discussions • Mentor junior traders and review pricing work on high-stakes events • Answer partner research questions on marketplace behavior, demand drivers, and season or event projections • Turn one-off research requests into repeatable team outputs • Identify service, automation, AI tooling, and pricing intelligence opportunities; lead pilots and product builds • Analyze post-event pricing outcomes and apply learnings to future cycles • Travel for partner visits, business reviews, live events, conferences, and offsites, including evenings and weekends

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, sports management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • 5+ years of experience in ticket pricing, revenue management, trading, or a comparable analytical commercial role, including at least 2 years as the owner of client or partner relationships, preferably in sports, live entertainment, or another dynamic-pricing industry • Real sports knowledge, including how standings, schedules, rivalries, star players, and playoff races move demand • Genuine awareness of live entertainment, including how touring, on-sales, and routing shape demand • Significant experience in ticket pricing, revenue management, trading, or a comparable analytical commercial role, including ownership of pricing decisions with real money attached • Track record as the senior owner of a significant commercial relationship • Experience being accountable when a partnership is under strain • Experience mentoring, reviewing work, or setting operating standards • Fluency with sell-through, price realization, ATP, GTV, and inventory aging • Comfort in spreadsheets and BI tooling, including reading and questioning data you did not produce • Concrete example of turning a one-off analysis into a reusable output • Nice to have: rightsholder-side or secondary marketplace experience, commercial deal structuring, and familiarity with data analytics concepts and workflows • Travel roughly 20% of the year or more, including partner site visits, business reviews, live events, conferences, and team offsites
