📋 Description

• Act as a department subject matter expert for the complex claims team • Provide guidance to ensure consistency in resolving complex claims • Oversee complex claim inventory and assess highly complex claims issues • Utilize jurisdictional expertise and direct handling toward optimal resolution • Evaluate exposure and recommend or direct action plans for issue or case resolution • Document clear and concise file notes • Facilitate roundtables and engage internal and external resources • Provide technical leadership and co-own complex claim issues • Support evaluation and development of policies and procedures • Mentor complex claim consultants, adjusters, and team leads • Lead calibration exercises to ensure consistency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Industry designation(s) preferred • Licenses as required for specific jurisdictions • California expert with OSIP Certification • Specialization in litigation strategy and resolution • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion • Ability to handle work-related stress • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously • Ability to meet deadlines • Computer keyboarding • Hearing, vision, and talking
