📋 Description
• Review photos, documentation, and other claim materials to assess damage • Prepare detailed repair estimates using approved industry-standard software • Evaluate repair-versus-replace decisions and determine appropriate parts usage • Assess whether vehicles are repairable or should be deemed salvage • Collaborate with repair facilities to process supplements and update estimates • Negotiate repair scope and pricing with repair facilities • Perform other duties as assigned • Support the organization's quality programs • Travel as required
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required • Licenses as required • Three (3) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including at least one (1) year of heavy equipment experience • Thorough knowledge of operating heavy equipment • Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, climb, crawl, stoop, reach/work overhead • Ability to work outdoors in hot and/or cold weather conditions • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds • Ability to drive up to 4 hours per day • Hearing, vision, and talking capabilities
