SeedChange is a Canadian non-profit organization (formerly the Unitarian Service Committee of Canada) that partners with farmers to promote food justice, seed sovereignty, and sustainable agriculture. It works to keep seeds in farmers’ hands and strengthen farmer knowledge so communities can grow just, healthy, and sustainable harvests. Founded in 1945 by Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova, SeedChange focuses on farmer-led development, resilience, and community wellbeing through agricultural and seed-focused programs.
