📋 Description

• Lead and manage transmission line design projects from conception through completion • Provide technical oversight on overhead transmission lines rated 115kV and higher • Review calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with NESC, IEEE, and utility standards • Mentor and guide team members • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables • Support proposal development, resource planning, and project budgeting • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in transmission engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred • 7+ years of experience in transmission line design, with direct experience on 115kV systems • Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related design software • Strong understanding of NESC, IEEE, and ASCE codes and standards • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing technical teams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment • Select Power Systems will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization
