📋 Description

• Build, configure, and maintain data-ingestion jobs that pull data from Armis, Axonius, and other API sources into Elasticsearch, under the guidance of senior engineers • Write and maintain ingestion and transformation scripts (e.g., Python) and Logstash / ingest-pipeline configurations • Monitor pipeline health, triage failures, and investigate data-quality and data-freshness issues • Assist in developing and updating Elasticsearch mappings and Kibana dashboards and visualizations • Perform data validation and reconciliation checks between source platforms and Elasticsearch, and help maintain data lineage documentation • Support routine maintenance such as credential/token rotation, index cleanup, and retention tasks • Contribute code and configuration changes through Git and CI/CD, following team standards

🎯 Requirements

• US citizenship with the ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • 1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, software development, systems/data analysis, or a closely related role (strong internship, lab, or academic project experience considered) • Scripting ability in Python (or a similar language) for data manipulation and automation • Familiarity with relational or NoSQL data concepts and basic data modeling • Exposure to Elasticsearch/OpenSearch or another search/analytics platform, or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly • Understanding of REST APIs and working with JSON data • Familiarity with Git and version-control basics
