📋 Description

• Lead programs consisting of multiple restaurant tenant-improvement and ground-up/new-build projects as an owner’s representative • Act as an extension of the owner’s design and construction staff • Oversee general contractors, designers, and vendors across multiple locations • Lead full program delivery, including bidding, permitting, scheduling, construction oversight, change orders, invoicing, punch lists, and project closeout • Manage construction activities on site • Direct and coordinate project-team activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget • Communicate project issues to the Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director • Examine drawings, schedules, scopes, bid results, specifications, test reports, progress reports, and related documentation • Confirm and verify project permitting requirements • Manage and monitor project work in the field • Manage project change orders • Prepare and provide weekly project status reports • Identify and resolve or escalate cost, schedule, safety, and quality issues • Represent the company in project meetings • Maintain relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors, and vendors to help develop new opportunities • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related program or equivalent • Alternatively, 7-10+ years of related experience in QSR/kitchen retail construction project management • Ground-up construction experience highly preferred/critical • Strong understanding of multi-site program management • Expertise in construction processes, including pre-construction, permitting, scheduling, and closeout • Qualified candidates must live in the Northern California Bay Area/Sacramento market or surrounding states • Willingness and ability to travel 50-80% as needed, including weekly site visits • Ability to work multiple shifts when required in active retail locations • Ability to manage general contractors, designers, vendors, and project teams • Ability to manage projects within schedule and budget • Ability to review construction drawings, schedules, scopes, specifications, bids, and reports • Ability to manage change orders, project reporting, documentation, and issue escalation
