• Use advanced telemedicine technology to remotely guide MRI scans and ensure image quality and accuracy • Maintain continuous visual contact with patients throughout MRI scans • Communicate with onsite staff via chat or phone • Review onsite patient screening and identify safety issues or contraindications • Select appropriate MRI scan protocols • Operate MRI equipment remotely with onsite technologists or healthcare providers • Troubleshoot equipment issues • Ensure compliance with MRI and patient safety standards • Document patient information, procedures, and results • Maintain detailed imaging session records • Monitor imaging quality for clarity and diagnostic accuracy • Stay current with MRI technology, telemedicine practices, and Massachusetts healthcare regulations • Participate in training • Manage patient information and electronic records in compliance with HIPAA
• Active ARRT license • At least 3 years of MRI Technologist independent scanning experience • Completion of an accredited MRI certification program or a related field • Strong understanding of MRI protocols, physics, and imaging software • Familiarity with remote telemedicine platforms and virtual healthcare technology • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technology • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing technology and protocols
