📋 Description

• Proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population by making outbound phone calls to eligible patients and enrolling them with Shields Partner Pharmacy • Educate patients on services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program • Protect confidential patient information • Communicate with patients by phone and explain the benefits of the Shields Partner Pharmacy program • Access patients' EMRs and review chart notes before outbound calls • Identify medications requiring special storage or handling, including hazardous and refrigerated medications • Identify supplies needed for select medications, including sharps containers, needles/syringes, alcohol swabs, and band-aids • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License Required • State-registered (Louisiana) Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred • 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician • High School Diploma or GED • Strong communication, organization, and tech skills • Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Solid computer skills, including navigating the internet and web-based platforms • Prior customer service experience / outbound call experience • Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through an assessment as part of the pre-employment process
