📋 Description

• Support transportation initiatives and prepare financial forecasts • Perform detailed monthly variance analysis and communicate key performance drivers to senior management • Collaborate with partners on weekly performance reporting, especially for Transportation, and provide outlooks on ship costs and margin • Manage relationships with the Transportation team to build bottom-up forecasts and identify risks and opportunities • Develop and implement models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives • Prepare the annual operating plan, financial budget, plans, and targets with the Transportation team • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board • Analyze operational business metrics and develop margin analysis for business partners • Improve financial models, procedures, files, and processes through continuous improvement and automation • Work with management to improve the company’s strategic approach • Provide solutions to business needs and optimize investments behind key company strategies • Network with stakeholders across the company to understand objectives and support achievement • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related degree • 3PL or relevant experience in Transportation required • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or another related field • Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including explaining complex financial concepts to various stakeholders • High comfort level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of NetSuite, Smartview, SQL, PowerBI, and Power Query preferred • Proactive self-starter able to meet deadlines within time constraints and remain detail oriented • Ability to think critically about business challenges while absorbing new knowledge and information • Commitment to accuracy and integrity • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment and navigate ambiguity • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization through strategic thinking and execution of action plans
