📋 Description

• Execute cybersecurity team initiatives supporting the program’s PQC objectives • Establish and enforce security policies and procedures • Gather and organize technical information about organizational missions, goals, requirements, security products and Information Assurance programs • Develop and provide documentation for PQC assessments and evaluations • Work with customers to outline roadmaps, strategies and approaches for deploying cross-cutting cybersecurity solutions • Provide agency-wide communication outreach to drive program and capability acceptance • Schedule and run stakeholder meetings on behalf of the PQC team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or an additional 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree • Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification • 5+ years of experience performing cybersecurity functions consistent with this role • Experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity capabilities • Solid understanding of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) concepts and quantum-vulnerability risk • Ability to track and interpret evolving federal cybersecurity policy and regulatory drivers, including FISMA, NIST guidance and OMB directives • General understanding of PKI, TLS and cryptographic inventory/discovery concepts, including ACDI tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience producing technical documentation for non-technical and executive audiences • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups in a large, complex organization • Strong self-directed research skills • Proactive mindset and comfort with ambiguity • Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes • Applicants must currently be a U.S. citizen in compliance with federal contract requirements • Prior experience directly supporting a PQC or broader cryptographic modernization program is beneficial • Hands-on experience with cryptographic discovery/inventory tools is beneficial • Hands-on experience with on-premises/enterprise PKI architecture, TLS migration or certificate/key management is beneficial • Familiarity with cloud security concepts in AWS and Azure environments is beneficial • Familiarity with NIST FIPS 203, FIPS 204, FIPS 205 and OMB Memorandum M-23-02 is beneficial • Prior experience supporting a federal civilian agency IT program is beneficial • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture initiatives is beneficial
