📋 Description

• Review plans, calculations and specifications for compliance with the most current adopted ordinances, laws, and state building codes • Prepare plans review comment letters according to municipality direction and SCA standards • Meet and confer with clients as needed via phone, email, virtual meeting, or in person to clarify plan check comments

🎯 Requirements

• ICC Certified Plans Examiner with complete knowledge and full understanding of the International model building codes and standard construction methods • 2+ years of experience working for a jurisdiction providing plan check reviews for both commercial & residential • Skilled with complete life safety review (B. P. M. & E.) • Computer knowledge and basic word processing experience • Must have a high school diploma • Valid Driver License required • Must successfully complete standard background investigation • Some college is highly desirable
