📋 Description

• Service Medical Imaging Equipment in the Kansas City, MO area • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites • Act as the “Face of Siemens” to customers • Support diagnostics modalities and potentially cross-train into other modalities • Work assigned shifts and on-call rotations, including overtime as business needs dictate • Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions • Perform service, preventative maintenance, and modifications with minimal supervision • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers • Complete necessary administrative duties accurately and on time • Provide customer-site field service for Siemens Healthineers medical technology equipment

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred • 3-5+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision • Previous experience with desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment • Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers • Ability to perform necessary administrative duties timely and accurately • Strong background working with electronics • Proficient use of service tools and service test equipment • Proficient PC skills, including MS Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) • Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website, and Engineer Tools • Ability to locate, read, and understand installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematic, block diagram, and functional description documents • Must be proficient in using tools and service test equipment and able to work individually and in an established team setting • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and often over 50 lbs; perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine-grasping work • Good vision and ability to work alone • Must hold a valid driver's license in the state of residence • May not have prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless prohibited by applicable law • Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training • Successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
