📋 Description

• Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach • Focus care primarily on pregnancy and gestational diabetes (GDM) • Support patients with hormonal imbalance, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause, gut health, and metabolic health • Assess patients’ nutritional health, prenatal needs, blood sugar regulation, and hormone-related conditions • Monitor and review daily blood glucose logs for GDM patients • Provide timely feedback, adjustments, and ongoing support • Educate and train patients on glucose meters and blood sugar monitoring • Develop and modify individualized nutrition care plans focused on glycemic control during pregnancy • Coordinate care and communicate with referring physicians and healthcare providers • Implement Simplex Health protocols and materials • Document new and follow-up appointments in Healthie • Respond to patient communications in a timely and supportive manner • Resolve work-related issues or conflicts • Contribute to team collaboration and support team decisions and outcomes • Adhere to company policies and procedures • Maintain a full patient caseload with timely follow-ups and continuity of care • Participate in onboarding, training, case reviews, team meetings, committees, resources, and clinical initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) • At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care • Experience or strong interest in prenatal nutrition, gestational diabetes (GDM), or hormone-related conditions • Current registration with CDR • Credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies • Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing required before start • Availability for evening appointments strongly preferred • CDCES strongly preferred • IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential a plus); candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome • Passion for women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes • Integrative and functional nutrition approach • Ability to use glucose meters and blood sugar monitoring techniques • Experience with Healthie platform • Strong attention to detail in clinical documentation • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members • Ability to manage a full and consistent patient caseload • Ability to stay current with research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care
