📋 Description

• Provide virtual outpatient medical nutrition therapy using an integrative and functional nutrition approach • Focus care primarily on pregnancy and prenatal nutrition, including gestational diabetes • Support patients with hormonal imbalance, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause, gut health, and metabolic health • Assess patients’ nutritional health, prenatal needs, blood sugar regulation, and hormone-related conditions • Monitor and review daily blood glucose logs for gestational diabetes patients • Provide feedback, treatment adjustments, and ongoing patient support • Educate and train patients on glucose meters and blood-sugar monitoring techniques • Develop and modify individualized nutrition care plans focused on glycemic control during pregnancy • Coordinate care and communicate with referring physicians and healthcare providers • Implement Simplex Health protocols and materials • Document new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform • Respond to patient communications in a timely and supportive manner • Collaborate with the team and support team decisions and outcomes • Stay current with research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care • Manage a full patient caseload with timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and optimal outcomes • Report to the Senior Clinical Director

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Dietitian / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) • At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care • Experience or strong interest in prenatal nutrition, gestational diabetes (GDM), or hormone-related conditions • Current registration with CDR • Credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies • Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing required before start • Strong interest in women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes • Integrative and functional nutrition approach to care • Evening appointment availability strongly preferred • CDCES strongly preferred • IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential a plus); candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome • Ability to provide timely, supportive patient communication and detailed documentation • Ability to collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members • Ability to stay current with emerging research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care • Ability to manage a full, consistent patient caseload • Organizational, multitasking, project-management, adaptive, and problem-solving abilities
