📋 Description

• Provide email and live technical support to enterprise customers • Act as the first line of defense for complex technical issues, bug diagnosis, and critical outages • Identify and reproduce product issues, perform QA, and submit formal bug reports or feature requests to Engineering • Collaborate with software developers, sales engineers, and technical account managers to communicate current customer issues • Streamline and improve Support and Engineering processes and tools • Author internal runbooks and public documentation • Improve team efficiency and effectiveness • Ensure a positive customer support experience during every interaction • Learn customer businesses, systems, database operations, and technologies to accurately identify issue sources and solutions • Engage with development, query performance engineering, product management, and infrastructure SRE teams

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of advanced customer-facing technical support experience • Experience with MySQL or MySQL-like databases (MariaDB, Aurora, etc.) and SQL query optimization • Solid Kubernetes and system administration skills • Hands-on Linux experience, including checking system I/O utilization, measuring network throughput, and navigating large log files • Experience with a scripting or coding language such as Python, Bash, or Go • Ability to navigate the code base • Familiarity with distributed systems and AWS/GCP • Ability to analyze distributed applications and services for performance bottlenecks and remove single points of failure • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to explain technical concepts to a wide range of end-users • Availability Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM PST (US West Coast)
