📋 Description

• Develop, execute, and optimize intake and orchestration processes and procurement strategies • Build strategic relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Smartsheet • Influence spend management, efficiency, and supplier partnerships using data-driven insights, market intelligence, analysis, planning, and forecasting • Define long-term category strategies to drive value creation and cost savings • Evaluate and optimize procurement tools, processes, systems, automation, and new technologies • Define and track operational reporting, analytics, and performance metrics • Perform industry benchmarking and analyze market conditions, supply/demand trends, technology, supplier financial data, and competition • Forecast pricing and develop long-term planning and negotiation strategies • Develop and manage cost reduction programs • Build and implement sourcing and procurement processes, policies, guidelines, and best practices • Provide vision, strategy, and direction to the procurement team • Partner with FP&A and other departments on procurement execution, budget alignment, cost reduction targets, and total cost of ownership • Collaborate with Risk, Privacy, Legal, and Security to review suppliers before and after purchase and ensure due diligence, compliance, risk management, and ESG commitments • Champion continuous improvement in procurement delivery • Recruit, train, and develop procurement employees • Report to the SVP, Financial Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or other related field ideal; master's degree or MBA preferred • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a corporate environment, ideally within tech/software (SaaS), with a proven track record in building sourcing and procurement programs • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience leading a team • Preferred CPSM or CSCP certification • Experience overseeing up to $250M of overall company spend in a global organization • Understanding of procurement laws, regulations, and ethical practices • Proven ability to direct, inspire, and empower a team • Prior experience partnering with private equity is ideal, with experience building programs, metrics, KPIs, and reports • Coupa Software experience strongly desired • Strong data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and financial acumen • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels and externally
