📋 Description

• Provide technical support to plan, schedule, and execute hardware and software engineering and implementation of Building Automation Systems projects • Perform basic engineering work and design tasks under a senior engineer’s supervision • Use AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings and visual aids • Assist with reviewing and creating drawing details, schedules, sequences of operations, and drawing content • Assist with selecting and sourcing DDC programmable controllers, instrumentation, sensors, and field devices • Review and possibly assist with shop drawings, submittals, product data, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-builts • Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports • Collect data and information for construction documents • Prepare project design and construction documents • Work with engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors, and client staff to ensure proper operation and acceptance of automation and software solutions • Work with the engineering team and interact closely with project management • Assist with punch lists and project closeout documents • Assist with project communication, reporting, and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders • Manage personal hours using company tools • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline OR two years of experience with hands-on engineering, programming, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure • CAD experience with AutoCAD or Revit • Skilled at using MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Exceptional organizational skills for file management • Knowledge of control system principles • Knowledge of IoT, smart building solutions, building automation systems, and/or DDC/PLC systems • Knowledge of OT protocols: BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, and MQTT • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize operational processes • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment with effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form, with technical and non-technical information • Ability to work successfully as a team member and independently with moderate supervision • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to travel up to 15% to any or all 50 U.S. states • Valid REAL ID or acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for business air travel effective May 7, 2025
